2023 UGA MILESTONES

In the Fall of 2022, UGA admitted more than 6,200 new first year students, the largest class in history. The total number of students has now surpassed 40,000.

UNPRECEDENTED INTEREST

UGA received nearly 40,000 applications for the Class of 2026, also a record.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

UGA was one of three public universities to receive a Rhodes Scholar this year. We had two Marshall Scholars in the same year (a record!), and had one of the first LAG Ignite Scholars.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

UGA won a second consecutive national championship in football, and finished 7th in the NACDA Directors’ Cup for universities with the most success in collegiate athletics.
