35,166 INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS

engaged in Student Affairs programs, experiences and opportunities, including a 96% in engagement among first-generation college students.

9,523 flu shots

administered by the University Health Center to students, faculty and staff – a 22% increase from last year

7,200+ individual students

attended at least one of four engagement fairs throughout the year, with the overall participation across the fairs increasing by 54% from last year.

32,000+ visits

to the Student Food Pantry, leading to the identification of a much larger space to accommodate the increased use.

2,014 individual students

participated in one or more community service events hosted by Student Affairs

2,863 students

participated in a three-part training program and are now certified as Support Dawgs, offering mental health and well-being resources and support to their peers

Increased student programming and engagement opportunities from 1,105 events to 5,406 events

1,707 student employees

in Student Affairs. Over the past five years, nearly 500 student employment opportunities were added.

105% increase

in overall attendance to events overseen by Student Affairs since WelcomeUGA’s Fall 2022 revamp.

CREATED A UNIFIED APPROACH TO STUDENT WEll-BEING

by enhancing programs, resources and services available to students. As a result, 3 out of every 4 UGA students now utilize well-being resources across the university
