FY26 HIGHLIGHTS:
Parents, families, and supporters share UGA Student Affairs’ mission of helping their students thrive during their time at UGA. Parent and Family Engagement seeks to connect families and
collaboratively support students.
3,000+ total registered guests
On Family Weekend, including 812 current students, 1,943 Family Members/Supporters, and 822 total families.
35,000+ mailchimp subscribers
for social media and communication emails. 6,400+ followers on Instagram. Email communications include a monthly newsletter and segmented updates needed (e.g., Commencement messages to families of graduating students, housing updates following significant incidents).
over 30 college + departmental hosts
for Family Weekend, including the College of Engineering, Georgia Museum of Art, Office of the President, Recreational Sports, Terry College of Business, and University Housing.
Family Hospitality Suite
Worked with NSO to prepare the Intersection of Tate Student Center to host guests of incoming students at first-year and transfer orientation sessions.
