FY26 HIGHLIGHTS:
The Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) positions student veterans for success by easing the transition from military to higher education, establishing access to resources and facilitating career readiness.
$485,000+ PROVIDED
for students in FY26. A 13% increase from FY25. Gained over $500,000 in new endowed scholarships in Student Affairs.
411 enrolled in Fall 2025
The Student Veteran population increased by 10% from Fall 2024 to 2025, a 95% Fall enrollment increase over the past 5 years.
Berkman Scholars’ success
Spring 2026 saw an 82% engagement rate, the highest since program inception in 2023. Secured grant funding to grow from three to four Berkman Scholars per semester.
“The SVRC has benefited me tremendously during my time at UGA. I can recall struggling to find a community and purposeful way to serve prior to coming to school. Through the events sponsored by the Student Veterans Association, I have thankfully been able to join a community of like-minded people much like I had during my time serving in the military. The SVRC has also given me the opportunity to pay it forward through my work at the service desk where I am able to help direct veterans to the resources they need as they transition from the military to civilian life.”
