STUDENT CARE AND OUTREACH
FY26 HIGHLIGHTS:
Student Care and Outreach provides individualized assistance and tailored interventions to support undergraduate and graduate students experiencing hardship, complex circumstances or unexpected challenges. The office coordinates care and resources to help students navigate difficult situations and remain connected to the UGA community.
32,000+ visits
to the UGA Student Food Pantry over FY26. The pantry is expanding from a
137-square-foot space to a 1,100 square-foot marketplace in Fall 2026.
140 students
currently supported through Embark@UGA. The effort provides individual case management, community-building events, social connection and financial support.
2,800+ students
and 500+ faculty and staff participated in Support Dawgs Training
“I have enjoyed training my peers about well-being and suicide prevention through the Support Dawgs program. Student Care and Outreach helped me during a difficult personal time so to be able to connect my friends to an office where I know they can get help has been incredibly meaningful.”
