Engagement, Leadership, and Service
FY26 HIGHLIGHTS:
Engagement, Leadership, and Service provides programs, services, events and learning experiences that strengthen students’ connection to the University of Georgia, foster a sense of community and empower them to become engaged and contributing leaders. Through ELS, students can join student organizations, participate in service opportunities, develop leadership skills and engage with campus events while building connections and contributing to the UGA community.
$94,500 awarded
in scholarships and grants to 40 students. $2,124 in student engagement grants were awarded to 18 students.
1,636 Volunteers
completed 6,014 service hours.
37,618 total event attendees
with 17,560 attendees from events hosted by
Engagement, Leadership, and Service.
19,938 visitors
entered the Engagement, Leadership, and Service office in the Tate Student Center, a 23% increase from FY25.
984 Registered student organizations
including 119 new organizations.
