Engagement, Leadership and Service

FY26 HIGHLIGHTS:

Engagement, Leadership, and Service (ELS) delivers programs, services, events, and significant learning experiences which strengthen students’ connection to the University, cultivate a sense of community, and empower students to be engaged and contributing leaders. Student engagement is a pivotal part of an enriched collegiate experience. Through the department, students can join student organizations, participate in and lead service opportunities, engage in leadership development, coordinate and attend multiple events on campus, and so much more.

$94,500 awarded

in Scholarships and Grants to 40 students. $2,124 in Student Engagement Grants were awarded to 18 students.

1,636 Volunteers

completed 6,014 service hours.

37,618 total event atttendees

Including 17,560 attendees from events hosted by Engagement, Leadership and Service.

19,938 visitors

entered the Engagement, Leadership, and Service office in the Tate Student Center, a 23% increase from FY25.

984 Registered student organizations

Including 119 new oragnizations.
