Global Student Engagement (GSE) enhances students’ college experience through programs and services focused on internationalization, transition, support, and engagement for the UGA community.

in GSE’s events, including International Coffee Hour (53rd year), International Education Month, and International Street Festival (27th year).

Received the Transit Titan award from Athens-Clarke County Transit.

by the Parent Leadership Council to support the International Student Orientation and World Leader programs, ensuring the continuity of student support and leadership development.

Cultural Student Engagement
FY26 HIGHLIGHTS:
The Office of Cultural Student Engagement (CSE), within the Center for Global and Cultural Student Engagement, fosters a welcoming, engaged campus environment through cultural programming, mentoring pathways, leadership development, and opportunities for students to bridge communities and build relationships. Grounded in the BELONG framework, CSE connects students to outreach and resource supports that strengthen student success and campus connection.

across the year’s programming calendar, including Friendsgiving, CSE Fest, and the weekly Tate Time with CSE series.
piloted two academic credit-bearing experiences
the reimagined Presidents Leadership Experience, through which Cultural Student Organization presidents earned both experiential learning credit and Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR) recognition for their leadership involvement, and the Mentoring Pathway Scholars Program (MPSP), a leadership and student success initiative that supports scholars in strengthening their skills to lead with confidence and purpose.
bulldogs original five scholarship
debuted this year in partnership with the Bulldogs Original Five. At their Legacy in Motion documentary screening and gala in February, the Trailblazers awarded the inaugural scholarship to Natalia Daniel, a member of the Mentoring Pathway Scholars Program.
