Accessibility and Testing
FY25 HIGHLIGHTS:
Accessibility and Testing supports the success and progression of students by collaborating with university partners to provide academic accommodations and testing services to empower students and community members to fully demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
3,200+ students
with disabilities received accommodation support, with 15,324 accommodated exams proctored, ensuring a consistent delivery of services across diverse needs.
1,166 Students
provided input to help design and implement individualized ADA accommodations.
956 individual outreach interactions
offered accessibility information and guidance on available disability services. University and Community Testing proctored 7,000+ exams for UGA students.
Program Development
Successfully launched the newly revamped Disability Ambassador Program, enhancing student involvement and peer support.
Scholarship Awards
10 first-year students received academic scholarships through the generosity of Bobbi Sahm (BBA ’92). This marked the first academic year in which students with a history of accommodations were eligible for scholarship funding during their first semester at UGA.
